A little slow to get started (reading the disc and being ready to play), but it works as expected. Haven't tried the other features, using it a camper so generally there's no internet where I use it.

It will eliminate an error code that sometimes occurs. This can happen to most electronics these days. The up side is that Sony publishes firmware code fixes. Other companies will just ignore the problem. Firmware updates can be found on the Sony website. https://www.sony.com/
