This one read and play much faster than the other. I certainly recommend it to every one. actually I will buy another one for a second tv.

No DNLA
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to return this item because it has no DNLA feature, which allows viewing of pictures and videos stored on a hard drive on your home network using Ethernet cable. At a lower price point, both the competing LG and Samsung models have DNLA. The box for the Sony prominently warned it has no WiFi capability, but it did not warn it has no DNLA.

While the picture quality and sound are what you would expect the device has a clunky interface and long load times. Definitely gets the job done, but not the best.
