    we bought this model a couple years ago. It has failed and won't power up. Worse, the failure was in HDMI and it appears to have damaged the $1000 Onkyo receiver. The chip that failed shows that it has been overheating itself for some time.

    I only use this item to play DVD's since I do not use Netflicks or any other streaming devices. I almost gave up on it during the set up because the onscreen offers no option to skip over all the setup for these many devices. I finally just opened the door and put a DVD in and it works fine just as any DVD player would before all these extra functions were added.
