Plays regular DVDs and CDs besides Blu-ray.

We transferred all out tapes to CDs and DVDs and our slides on to discs. The sound is fantastic. The tech who installed gave explicit instructions on how to use it.

Basic blu-ray player.

Not that good for streaming, though. (Even when connected to the internet, netflix and youtube are the only useful apps. The rest are either "no longer supported" or streamers nobody's ever heard of.)

works well but annoying menu

I wish DVD players would just play when you insert a disk. Instead, you have to select disk using the remote control to select disk as opposed to selecting applications. There is no play button on the device. Other than that, it works fine.

I bought a different brand that did not work well with the wired internet service that we use. I returned that and we bought this one. After almost a month of use all seems to be going well.
