Was looking for a new DVD player this one everything I need

It responds to the remote and plays DVDs. I LOVE it.

Gets the job done efficiently & performs like a champ. Slim profile allows it to fit nicely under my TV with stand. Smart budget-conscious purchase.

Replacement for older Sony of the same model. Good player. Get about 3 years out of each one.

They must have when you have a lot a video disk especially when you do a lot of exercise at home instead of at the gym for CDs

Ok- so, one of the big sales pitches about this is that it has streaming options - it requires a wired connection & due to my set-up I've not tried that so cannot review it. The DVDs & BluRays I've played have worked, but the eject & loads seem to take a little time & the machine sometimes plays a little game of maybe not ejecting or turning of or on the first few times the unit buttons or remote control is used to issue these basic function commands when the remote clearly works well enough for each other thing, batteries working fine, etc., and the buttons on the machine don't work consistently either- sometimes the device responds quickly by them & others, take about a shrug & a deep sigh & then, "oh I guess it decided to work after all." Kinda of thing. Weird. But yeah- maybe it that amount of time I reconsider whether I don't just want to use my Roku instead & stream something wirelessly that way since it's much less convenient for me to re-wire my internet set-up so I am stream it through this device - kinda silly.

We use this at our camper. It makes movie nite fun

I needed a new blu Ray and did not want to spend very much. This works great.

Works as advertised. Great product for the price. Kids use all the time.

We are very happy with this bluray player. Hard to find one that isn't steam ready. We have limited internet at our vacation rental and want to offer quality movies but restrict wifi steaming. It is possible though, but you need a wired internet connection to do so.

Just right for what I need blue ray player to do, not expensive as well

Excellent for the price. We don't need any fancy wi-fi since it's never used in that mode. Our other one just stopped opening and closing reliably.

The dvd player was purchased as a gift for my son in his new apt. He has access to more than 100 dvds at no cost. That saves him the monthly fees of streaming channels and cable TV.
