Needed a basic Blu-ray player for the bedroom. Has all the basic controls and excellent Sony quality. Works great for me. If all you need are the basics then it would be hard to find a better player for the price.

This is great player for the price. Did not need wireless connectivity so this was perfect for me. Analog audio output would have been great for connecting to computer speakers, but a digital converter box did the trick for me.

I needed a Blu-ray player for my Mom. I looked at a few and found the one I wanted. My Mom can operate it easily so definitely a great buy!!

Super easy to install. Plays regular and blue ray discs and has USB port in front for computer. Only problem, usb to connect to tv has to be purchased separately.

I experienced some difficulty with the delivery and subsequent return. IN ALL OF THIS, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER!!!! THANKS, BEST BUY STAFF

IT is frustrating when you are wanting to play a dvd and the machine won't work. We were able to purchase one at the Best Buy Store and was able to watch our dvd that night! Thank you!

The Sony DVD player works well and does things my previous player did not such as being able to choose a movie if more than one is on one disc.

An absolutely marvelous product. I’m having many many hours of wonderful viewing. Well worth the money. I just love Best Buy PERIOD!!!

I already had a wireless wifi smart TV, so I decided to save a few dollars and go with this product, which was slightly less expensive than Sony's WIFI model. The menu user interface is clean and the control is decent. Very compact design, fairly quiet too. Good job Sony!

Sony Bluray works great. Setup was very easy. HDMI cable and power pack/cord were included.

The Sony line has been good dvd/blu-ray players as I own three. Streaming is another matter. The player suffers from inadequate hardware which causes it to stutter and restart material when streaming. I have FIOS fiber to premise backedup by a commercial grade firewall thus bandwidth is not the issue. This is no means a Roku replacement. Purchase it for disc play and you'll be pleased .

I bought this mostly because my old dvd player died. I liked the idea of it being able to stream my favorite apps. This thing comes pre loaded with apps and no ability to add any apps. There was literally only one app I would use. As a DVD player it does actually play DVDs. As a streaming device it is extremely sub par.

Love the service. Piece of mind. Best Buy has really good after sales service Amazing gadget to use!! Love every moment of it!!!
