Happy with the purchase. I I I have had no problems.

I strictly bought this blu-ray to stream tv shows in hopes of getting rid of my $200 cable bill every month. I was told by the sales person that out of all the smart blu rays this was the best one with the most apps. I found that it doesn't have very many apps and that the remote is a joke which makes me not want to use it. It is tiny and makes it take 200 times longer than a regular sized one. This is great for someone who is not tech savvy in the least...like your grandparents

The remote failed less than 2 years after purchase even though this unit is not used often - maybe a couple of times a month. Also, it can't operate without a remote - no buttons on it. Expect the remote to fail fast with heavy usage. Aside from the remote issue, the unit has VERY slow response time to any command - many seconds for any function. Press a button and wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

This thing is ready from the time you press the on button. No more waiting for the software to do its thing. Also full of great apps for cable cutting.

No issues with unit, cheapest blue ray player I could find at the time.

TBH, not much use, but it works fine, reads all older DVDs and new...but we have not used much since Netflix, etc. are dominating

works as expected. didn't notice that it wasn't wireless before purchasing, so not using it for the online streaming channels, but it plays dvds as expected.

Only tried it twice but it seems to start quickly and ties well into my system. I have a Logitech device that runs everything and works fine off that remote

Has been a great little DVD player for my mother. My only knock is it lacks some of the streaming applications.

I bought a new movie player for my television and chose the Sony one. It works very well and can be used for multiple movies on the same day.

Works really well and works seamlessly with my Vizio TV & Soundbar. Didn't need the wifi capability and just plugged straight in so it's all I need. Excellent product.

I had to return 2 DVD players recently. The clerk listened to my concerns and suggested I purchase this item so I did. Happy so far.

Easy-to-follow setup. Loads quickly. Plays all my Blue-rays with great audio-video quality. There was one older DVD that would not load. Perhaps not backward compatible with all codecs?

Thought with this being a Sony it would be a lot better than it is but I was very disappointed. Was not able to program the volume control on the blu-ray remote so now i have to keep both remotes with me. Also, 90% of my movies look very dark, even the day time scenes making it very hard to actually see the picture. Very disappointed and now I'm stuck with two of them.

This was on sale and seemed like for the price it wasn't going to be all that good.Salesmen recommend it said I'd be very happy. And I was.installed in about 5 minutes.

Honestly I think we wore our old one out, had it for years and loved it. So when it was time to get a new one we got another Sony. So far very happy with it.

Beware this unit is not compatible with other Sony Bluray Wifi Dongles if you own one for a previous player, says it is not supported when plugged in. Otherwise, a good player.

This SONY Blu-ray player was compatible with our other gear and worked flawlessly.
