Affordable but very cheaply constructed.

It's short on features but it can deliver 4K and it does an excellent job up converting DVD to 1080p. I have had issues with the tray, if the unit is not completely level it will spin the disc off balance and could cause reading or damage to the disc. I have not used the streaming features as I have better devices for that. I find that the audio output is quiet and as such need to crank up my amp to hear the audio, I listen with a 2.1 system so this can be problematic, I have searched knowledge base articles and made sure that the output settings are correct and that the firmware is up-to-date, I have tried audio output through both HDMI/Optical and Coax and there is no change, just a weak signal overall. This does not meet my expectation of a Sony product unfortunately and I would not recommend anyone purchase this unit. There are certainly better options out there, perhaps from LG or Panasonic.
