Have it for the occasional movie rental and it works great! Small size, so it fits most any where. Have only used it 3 or 4 times and without issue. Oh! And the typical Netflix and Prime Video apps included are good to have if you don't have a smart TV. Haven't tried to connect my existing remotes to it yet, but that will be next. So far it works well!

The streaming seems a bit funky at times, works great other times. May be more of an internet connection issue when it doesn't, but other devices seem to work well even when it is glitching. Firestick works better for streaming so we us it.

Good basic dvd/blu-ray player

I bought 2 of these (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). It plays regular dvds, blu-ray dvds and dvds made from my computer. Please note that the included Crackle app on the player will no longer work soon because Sony sold Crackle. The only thing that would make the player better would be the ability to download/add other streaming channels.
