In fact, I bought this at the same time I purchased my smart tv, and I use this blue ray player to stream opposed to my smart tv, if that tells you anything. The simplicity of it's set up, as well as it's very easy to operate streaming software, makes this an amazing buy for any and everyone.

We only use the player for blu-ray, so we did not download any additional apps on to our system. Does NOT come preinstalled with apps like Hulu, Netflix, or Prime Video. We did not opt for the quick-start option which allows for the system to react faster upon start-up, so once in a while the player takes a little less than a minute to recognize that there's a disc.

Decent Blu-ray player

Bought this for my dad so he can watch his Blu-ray movies and use my Netflix, Vudu and crackle accounts over WiFi. The only downside is when you have a movie in the disc tray, power down and then power back up, the Blu-ray will say there's no disc. In order for it to recognize it you have to open and close the tray.
