    Well, it plays blu-rays and dvds! Pretty much why I bought it! It does have built-in wifi and comes with a few of the more popular apps (Netflix, YouTube) if that is important to you. I really love how compact this player is. My old one was huge so this one is definitely nice to fit in a small space.

    As family caregivers, we wanted a way to play movies (DVD's) at my mother's house on a separate TV than hers. Now we can watch our own DVD's when we stay at her place, while she watches programs on her TV. A practical purchase; the player works just fine.
