    This player is why I prefer Blu Ray DVDs to streaming. the picture quality is great! Have not bothered with the apps yet but they are not the main reason for the device. Although I am a little disappointed the amazon prime app was discontinued seemingly half way into production run for this specific model.

    This is a decent blu-ray player for the money. I bought it as a means to watch blu-rays while I was traveling. There is nothing that I consider extraordinary about it, but the price is perfect for what I need it to do. I haven't experienced any of the problems that other people have mentioned.
