Since this TV was 3 years old, we had to get different cables and a converter. Very easy set up. Worked the first time which was a miracle because I am electrically challenged and it usually takes to 2-3 times to get it right. I really like this feature plus it works so well.

Have not bothered with the apps yet but they are not the main reason for the device. Although I am a little disappointed the amazon prime app was discontinued seemingly half way into production run for this specific model.

Sony Blu-Ray player is great

We replaced it with the Sony BDP-S3700 - Streaming Wi-Fi Built-In Blu-ray Player. I couldn't believe how much better it was than the old one. It does everything well and has additional features we didn't have before like streaming WiFi. This was one of the better decisions I've made in home entertainment.
