Unfortunately, the streaming apps offered on the service are clunky and slow, and frequently discontinued, so if you’re looking for a streaming device, you’d be better off getting a streaming stick.

She really loves it and has suggested that we buy one for our family! She says the streaming portion is amazing. They have several subscriptions for the grandkids and can get to them from her blu ray! Glad grandma and grandpa are happy campers!

Lacking ability to zoom in and have only been able to find 1 slow motion speed and no 2x or 3x speed while playing disc. Picture is good quality, much better than my 20 year old one that died. Have not used the WIFI and streaming functions yet.

It so simple to use it work perfectly great play Blu-ray DVD perfectly and connected to WiFi perfectly great too. They are so happy to have this Sony Blu-ray DVD player. Wifi is nice so updates can be done easily and it has duplicative features of a smart tv (apps etc). The only issue is that sometimes the bluray player isn't recognized by the tv (I have the Sony 850d). Not sure why but it requires a reboot...hopefully a firmware update can fix that.
