She really loves it and has suggested that we buy one for our family! She says the streaming portion is amazing. They have several subscriptions for the grandkids and can get to them from her blu ray! Glad grandma and grandpa are happy campers!

It's exactly what they wanted and I count it as a good purchase. I have used it at their house while setting it up for them and it works fine. I can recommend it.

I also like the fact that it has a USB port in the front to watch videos off a flash drive - VERY convenient! I have not used the apps since I have a Smart TV, but there are plenty there for those that might not have a Smart TV. I highly recommend.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a bluray player. Nothing super fancy and it does what it's supposed to do. Wifi is nice so updates can be done easily and it has duplicative features of a smart tv (apps etc). The only issue is that sometimes the bluray player isn't recognized by the tv (I have the Sony 850d). Not sure why but it requires a reboot...hopefully a firmware update can fix that.
