Love having blu Ray and Netflix and Hulu in one system.

If you're looking for a basic DVD/Blu-ray player at a decent price, this is it. It isn't super-fast starting up and I've found the streaming apps to be too slow to deal with but it does play DVDs and Blu-ray discs just fine.

Good value, lots of options for streaming. Easy set up.

Picture and sound output is great. Easy to hook up.

This is the second Sony Blu-ray disc player I've purchased. The first one was a Sony BDP-S5200. It works so well that I bought a newer BDP-S3700 for my daughter. I gave the BDP-3700 a full test drive before I gave it to my daughter and works great. Strong wireless connection and hassle-free streaming of Netflix/Amazon/Hulu etc. I love it.

I purchased another brand of Blu-ray player and was having some troubles with it connecting to my TV. It would show up as "please check the connection of the device connected to HDMI 2." I saw the player's light was on and green, but the TV was not picking up the signal. After restarting the Blu-ray player the TV would connect with it. I keep all of my devices in a TV console with glass front doors with some decorative wood around the glass. I noticed with the other Blu-ray player, I had to really aim the remote precisely in order for it to pick up the signal. With this Sony, it has connected seamlessly to my TV and had a much broader range for the IR sensor to work with the remote through my glass doors. BD movies start up quickly and look and sound great. I have also used the USB port on the front and the Sony found the MP4 movie file immediately and it also looked and sounded very good even though it was a condensed file.

I recently bought this for my parents to replace their old dvd set up. Sony seems to always be my go to for home video stuff.

This is a great product. Simple to use and simple to set up.

My girlfriends DVD player was old, it could not play certain music CDs, and sometimes you had to press the buttons several times to make it work. I bought her this Sony unit, and both of us were very impressed. And she has the ability to use Netflix, etc. I gave this unit 4 stars because my girlfriend lives 200 miles away, so I do not use it.

This player replaces a much more expensive and inferior blu-ray player, which replaced a DVD player, which replaced vhs recorders. Too much money to replace technology changes. Great to get one cheaply for a change.

I purchased this Sony Blu-ray player to replace an older Sony model that was having some issues playing certain discs. Everything was pretty much plug and play, and I haven't found a blu-ray out of my collection that it hasn't been able to handle yet. Solid choice for a simple, easy to use player that just works!

Have two Sony Bluray players & never been a problem. Excellent.

Better than ROKU at a much better price and same great features.

I now own two of these bluray players because they are that good.

Streaming was easy to set up and disks play just fine.
