Replaces a very old DVD player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My girlfriends DVD player was old, it could not play certain music CDs, and sometimes you had to press the buttons several times to make it work. I bought her this Sony unit, and both of us were very impressed. And she has the ability to use Netflix, etc. I gave this unit 4 stars because my girlfriend lives 200 miles away, so I do not use it.

My First Sony Blu-ray Player.

This is my first Blu-ray player and I am impressed when watching a movie. The color and detail of the picture quality is outstanding. The price was reasonable I am easy to install.

She was so excited to get it as she’s a movie buff. She always wanted a Sony player. She was able to connect it by herself and have now watched 60+ movies, loves it and has recommended it to several friends.

Sony blue ray player

It is a few years newer than mine, but much the same. Remember to buy an hdmi cable to connect to your tv, as one is not provided

Too much money to replace technology changes. Great to get one cheaply for a change.

Great Blu-ray for the price

I also like the fact that it has a USB port in the front to watch videos off a flash drive - VERY convenient! I have not used the apps since I have a Smart TV, but there are plenty there for those that might not have a Smart TV. I highly recommend.

Easy to set up and wi fi no cables needed to use the smart features. I do recommend if you will use this a lot to buy the 4 yrs protection plan for complete Geek Squad protection. Inexpensive protection for your product
