I have purchased this product because of the price. I had a regular working DVD at home but had a couple of DVD/Blue-Ray combos at home. I hook up was easy and all you need is a small HDMI cable to connect Blue-Ray to TV if you don't have a smart tv. But it works great with playback and streaming is flawless. Remote is small and easy to use.

I purchased this Sony Blu-ray player to replace an older Sony model that was having some issues playing certain discs. Everything was pretty much plug and play, and I haven't found a blu-ray out of my collection that it hasn't been able to handle yet. Solid choice for a simple, easy to use player that just works!

I don't have cable and my dvd player died. I searched for on that had the wifi capabilities because I have hulu and Netflix. It works great and the video quality is good. I did not like that it does not come with an HDMI cord. I do have some problems with it freezing or disconnecting from the internet and I do not use it that often.

This player is compact and works great! I also like the fact that it has a USB port in the front to watch videos off a flash drive - VERY convenient! I have not used the apps since I have a Smart TV, but there are plenty there for those that might not have a Smart TV. I highly recommend.

My new Sony Blu-ray DVD player works wonderfully with my new Sony TV and sound bar. This is my first Blu-ray player and I am impressed when watching a movie. The color and detail of the picture quality is outstanding. The price was reasonable I am easy to install.

While the machine is not as user friendly for streaming Netflix as my tablet is the new machine is 1000 times better than my 6 year old machine. Old machine was frustrating for disks and I rarely played Blu Ray or DVDs on it. I have already watched more movies on this new machine in the past month, than I watched in the previous year on my old machine.

Easy to use out of the box and good picture quality.

Have one of these and really like the ease of setup and the great picture, so when I needed to buy a blue ray for a relative, I got this one. It is a few years newer than mine, but much the same. Remember to buy an hdmi cable to connect to your tv, as one is not provided

Bought this player for my granddaughters birthday. She was so excited to get it as she’s a movie buff. She always wanted a Sony player. She was able to connect it by herself and have now watched 60+ movies, loves it and has recommended it to several friends.

These are great players for your home entertainment system. Easy to set up and wi fi no cables needed to use the smart features. I do recommend if you will use this a lot to buy the 4 yrs protection plan for complete Geek Squad protection. Inexpensive protection for your product

You can change the input and volume, turn the TV on and off, and control many more functions all with the included remote.

I'm loving it - it's a great blu-ray player at a great price.
