I would give this 5 stars if the Netflix app would actually work.... My firetv stick does same unable to connect mess even with full bars on WiFi check. I have made it work a few times but other than that this player is great! Very good picture compared to my 3D jobber in the living room. Does great for the bedroom.

I bought this player for my daughter who was wanting a DVD player to add to her media experience. She was very excited to get home and hook it up to her TV so she could pop a DVD in and watch it. She called me the next day and stated that it was very easy to setup and had an extremely good picture on her TV.

I have 2 other Sony DVD/bluray players and they both have performed well; I had to replace one with this model because some of the newer apps wouldn't run on it. This model works well; the only complaint I have is with the remote--the buttons are smaller than on my last remote and difficult to use in dim light.

We purchased this with the idea of moving it around from outdoor projector to vacation and hasn’t failed

works great connects to wifi just fine and runs my netflix and other channels without a hitch. kudos

I have been using Sony products for more than 40 years. Never disappointed with their quality & longevity. This blu ray player is no exception and I'm sure will I'll enjoy it for a long time. It is an easy to set up & use, plug-n-play device w/ good video output. The price is reasonable too.

I purchased this Sony Blu Ray player to replace a cheaper one which I bought a year ago at Walmart.

Works well except for transitioning between Discs to inet. Does not like to interact well with Netflix.

I bought this as a last-minute addition to my mom's entertainment center. It was a great choice. It works well though it's a tad slow but this is nothing my family minds, although this may annoy other tech-advanced people. It's very simple and the interface is user friendly.

Bought this to replace a Blu Ray player that died. Plays Blu Ray disks and DVDs without a problem. Also has built in WiFi to stream Netflix if needed. Compact device, size-wise. No issues with it so far. Perfect as a main player or as a spare in a bedroom or kids room.

I bought the Blu-ray player for the living room so that we could start watching them in there. Getting to stream Netflix, Amazon, etc is a perk. The only complaint I have is it can take awhile to start up if you choose to use conserve power setting, but all in all like the product for the cost and brand.

a good bluray player, it would have been better if it had a optical out instead of just coaxal out.

The blu Ray player is awesome! It connects to 5 g internet and you can watch all the internet shows!

Good upgrade from a folder Panasonic Blu-Ray Player. Picture quality is fantastic, as is sound. Being so small, there are some missing outputs, and I think the Eject button on the remote is non-existent. Still, pretty solid player.

This great item plays dvd and play anything else you have on a usb drive. Perfect and easy to use.

LG 4HD does not portray picture quality of lesser DPI images. If you run an App like Netflix, you improve pic quality of non 4HD signals by playing the program on the bluray and automatically upscales the quality. Without it even film can get a washed out sort of soap opera shot on video quality.

I purchased this Blu-ray player to replace one in our kids playroom. This thing gets a lot of use. It's perfect for DVD's and Blu-ray's and even has Wi-Fi so you can stream video. We have been well satisfied so far. I'm positive you won't be disappointed!

It is perfect. Slim enough to fit anywhere. I have used it a few times and it works perfectly. Light indicator for when the player is on or off, is perfect. If you don't have a lot of space, this is perfect Bluray player to purchase.

I have an older version of the same blue ray player and that is what prompted me to buy this new one.

We needed a new blu ray player for our game room. We liked that this had built-in wifi and that it included access to apps like Netflix and Hulu, since our kids use those all the time. The remote feels cheap though, it's light and I hope the buttons will continue to work after a lot of use from our kids.
