Plays good but limited apps. I could not put PS Vue or other apps on the on the player.

Sony tends to make decent products even at the lower tier. The player is compact and space saving including the remote. The widgets/apps are plentiful and I have not had disruption in the wifi function. Overall its a fine blu-ray player given its cost.

I'm using this in a motor home. Haven't tried the Blue-ray, but regular DVD is great. Also the smart TV aspect is awesome as I used it off a hotspot on my phone and was able to watch Netflix and Prime video streamed from my phone without cables. Perfect.

Was looking for a WiFi bluray player for my daughter;s room. Despite an initial problem hooking up to the WiFi in the house, it has been a great addition to her room and it gets lots of use. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a basic bluray player with WiFi.

We were looking for something that would work for watching the many DVD'S we have on our new flat screen TV. This product fit the bill and we are enjoying many movies with some wonderful features we had not had before. This was a great purchase at a very good price.

Got this mostly for the streaming features of Netflix and YouTube. The unit works great for that and picture looks great on my 2007 Samsung 720p screen. Navigating the onscreen software can be a little sluggish at times, but not too bad. Overall a great unit for the price.

It is a Cristmas gift, we hope they like it. I really love its streaming capability.

It works great with Sony TV. The remote came with the player works for both Player and TV by default. No issues with wifi. It automatically upgrades the software. I did not come across with the Child-lock issue at all. It must have been fixed by the software upgrade.

Only difficulty was syncing the remote & Samsung TV. None of the listed commands worked. In the end i went to TV panel and tried from that end and succeeded eventually. No real issues thus far at 1 month of use.

This blue ray player makes the non smart tv a smart tv. It allows you to stream net flix and other apps through the tv that you cannot do with just a DVD player. No annoying buzz either which I had with my old DVD player. Highly recommend.

I purchased this for my wife’s Christmas present, so have not hooked it up yet. The price was great and I have another DVD player similar to this one. It works pretty good, so this is why I purchased this device.

I returned a Samsung one and the guy at the store recommended this one. So far it is so much easier to use. I love the Netflix button on the remote, makes getting to it so easy for my mom who doesn’t like technology much. I definitely recommend this one!

Does the job, takes a little while sometimes to get in Netflix but he price is right

This Player provides everything we needed for wireless connection in the bedroom.

I know that Sony is known for good electronic and this one has not disappointed.

This is an inexpensive blu ray player. Will stream net flix but not hulu. It says it works with hulu but does not. Had to replace our other blu ray when a ground surge fried our old one. Luckily you still had the same model available.

This seems to be a great streaming Blu-Ray Player. I connected it to my TV and was able to connect my home's WiFi network immediately. The picture quality is great, and the user interface is intuitive and straightforward.
