I could not believe the improved quality of playing existing BluRay discs. The clarity and the depth of color was significantly improved. The WiFi connectivity and streaming is so much better...without changing anything else in my house.

Value for the money...plus the Sony name. Does everything it is supposed to...

Like that it's small and not too big. Just had this hooked up recently and it plays well. Haven't had time to play with any of the features or stream on it yet. So far we like it.

This Sony - Streaming Audio Wi-Fi Built in Blu-ray Player met my expectations. The quality of the Player is good. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a player less than $100.00.

We needed a new BluRay player. And for the price this was an adequate machine. We were disappointed that we could not directly access Amazon Prime with this machine like we could with our previous model.

Easy to set up. Runs faster than our old player. A little thing like having an on/off light on the front is nice to have again - our old one left out this benefit that probably only cost a nickel to add.

Basic player. Just the bare minimum. Don’t rely on the apps that come with this player as those are not worthy. Good for watching bluray movies. Note that this is for regular blu ray and not for ultra hd

I purchased a blu ray player for my theater. It is linked in to the cable and Roku. Sony makes a very good product. We also have this same player in our family room. It gets a lot of use. Very satisfied.

This product does everything that is is supposed to do and does it very well.

This is the second DVD Player that I have bought and it is a similar model to the first Sony DVD player I have. I wanted the same model but it was no longer available but this model has all the functions of the first so I am very satisfied with it.

I bought this BR DVD player instead of a new Smart TV to save money to stream content. The player is easy to use and setup. However, switching between TV inputs is a little slower than I would like, but this was a great solution for my needs.

I have not had any problems. Everything works well. I am able to view Netflix, Crackle, Youtube, Standard and blue-ray DVD movies. You can view videos and pictures through the usb. If you have a 4K TV you need to get the next player up to get the 4K resolution.

I just needed a new BluRay DVD player without any bells or whistles. I am still old school, didn't want a used one so I went with this one. It works great and have had no problems. It has bells and whistles which I can not vouch for since I do not use them.

This was a purchase for a guest bedroom that has no TV cable. Working out just fine and no longer need a casting device. Compact size was a plus.

Blu-Ray is great. Streaming apps could be better , need to be able to add apps.

I don't have a 4K hd but I needed a new dvd player and this one matched wonderfully with my Sony tv. Easy to hook up, even easier to use the player for dvds or access to Netflix. Great purchase and would purchase it again if needed.

This is 1 of 4 Sony blu-ray players I own but the 1st I have purchased with built in wi-fi which I ultimately am dis-appointed with. I had planned on using it outside on my back patio but it kept changing resolution level when streaming Netflix, even though I was only 20 feet from Orbi AC satellite (through 1 outside wall). So I took one of my laptops out to the same spot and connected it using N but 5 GHz (blu-ray is only 2.5) and it gave connection seed of 115 mbps - so I am at a loss as to why the streaming stuttered. I wound up moving it indoors and it works great - BUT it is only 8 feet from my base Orbi. As far as app functionality I think it works great, but I really dont use but a couple regularly. I really like that you can connect a usb drive and it plays M2TS video files (native to blu-ray) allowing you to turn on/off closed caption. So overall I am happy with it now

good blu-ray player. easy to use and the guide is simple. streaming option is ok, but could be more user friendly. Wi-Fi was a little sluggish in the beginning, but it's not bad for the price I paid.

Easy to use. Bought as a Christmas gift for my dad and he has no complaints.
