Works just fine. I don’t use it all the time these days now with the streaming services. I like the compact size. It also provides options with its built in apps in case my Roku doesn’t work.

I wanted to watch netflix on my dumb TV, this worked great. It connected to the internet via my wireless router, setup was simple and I was ready to go. Also able to watch blu rays and DVDs. Connection was easy with one HDMI cable, which you will need to buy.

Worth the price for sure! I especially like that I can stream from my phone through the player to my tv.

I had a problem with the first one. Best Buy stood behind it, and replaced it. The response seems a little slow at times. The value is excellent. We only purchased as Netflix changed format in 2019. It is a great size though, smaller.

GREAT SIMPLE BLUE RAY PLAYER. EASY TO HOOK UP. HAS ALL THE APPS PREINSTALLED THAT YOU COULD NEED. THE CONTROLE IS SMALL AND EASY TO OPERATE. GREAT PLAYER FOR THE MONEY FOR THE KIDS ROOM.

I needed to replace my blu ray player to continue to receive Prime video service. Installation almost automatic. I do notice a delay in respond to the commands on my remote. Not a big issue but it need getting used to.

Really easy to set up with a single HDMI cable. The Blu-Ray player works well. One draw back is the limited number of apps available, and cannot find a way to add others (like Disney+, CBS all-access, etc.).

Bought this model to replace an older model when it broke. Works great & easy to operate. Like the compact size. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great investment. I love this because I can use it for streaming and I don't have to invest in another piece of equipment, such as a Roku. DVD/Blu-Ray player works great as well.

This machine is small and compact. Easily fits anywhere you'd want to put it. Two buttons on front are all you need to start enjoying blu ray movies in the comfort of your home. The remote is also small and easy to use. I'd recommend this player for everyone.

We purchased this, because our Roku was several years old, and we had received some BluRay discs. This was a cost-effective way to upgrade. Other than the user learning curve of things being organized differently while you are looking at titles, it's been a fairly easy transition. The discs play beautifully, and the streaming process is good. It does seem to hog a bit more bandwidth, so we often have to wait for it to connect. I'm not sure how much of that is our ISP or Wi-Fi signal. We try to keep things off Wi-Fi unless we are using them to keep the crowding down, but this unit still struggles at first. Again, that may not be the unit's fault. The picture will occasionally muddy a bit, then clear, I assume due to the streaming signal (not a techie, so that may not be the correct assumption). Overall, we are happy, but are wondering if we need to upgrade our Wi-Fi to keep up.

This is my 2nd one, have one in the living room and added this one for my bedroom. Love it. I do not have a smart TV in my bedroom and this one lets me watch those channels that I love. Works great and easy to use.

So far this has been a great purchase! My parents needed a blu ray player for there TV (which is not a smart TV), to play movies and shows for my nephews. And now they can also stream Netflix/hulu through it too.

I actually purchased this because I refuse to submit to cable and pay ridiculous fees. This bluray/DVD player is everything I need to watch my favorite films at a fraction of the cost. Reliable and fast.

Just slipped it in and re-plugged the lines from my prior blue ray after it had stopped playing. Inexpensive and I am now looking forward to being able to convert my older HD tv to a smart tv.

This Sony bluray DVD player is compact requires very little space on shelf. Has good picture and sound when playing bluray dvds. Great streaming of TV shows and movies. Was a gift for my son for Christmas. He is happy with its performance.
