I bought this player as a present for a friend and they love it.

I was supposed to get a free Netflix for a year. How do I get this?

We went with a smart DVD player and. It a smart tv. This lets us have a basic tv and still have smart options. Works perfect for pandora, Netflix and other online streaming services. Well worth the money and works perfectly.

Replacing a dated DVD player. This was recommended to me by the staff at Best Buy. It has worked great and then a nice addition for both playing and streaming movies.

Bought this for a gift. Nothing but rave reviews! Very pleased.

This little wonder fits perfectly in our home theater configuration. We have very little space to work with and this dvd / blu-ray player packed a lot of viewing technology in a small package. Our home theater is now complete.

I had to return this item. The DVD quality was great, it was easy to use; it just does not have any apps that were useful for me; there was only YouTube and Netflix and the other apps I had never even heard of. There was no Hulu, nor Amazon Prime. I learned that with certain Sony DVD players you don't get Amazon Prime so that was a no-go for me. I had to return it.

It's our first blu ray player and I will say the picture is very good. One downside; the streaming capabilities of this player are doubtful, at best. It can't hold a candle to a Roku. But if all you want is to play blu ray discs, it'll do the job.

We set this up in our kids playroom for the random times they may want to watch when they’re playing. Connects via WiFi which is awesome. A little slow logging onto Netflix, but it works perfect for what it’s needed for!

We have watched several movies that required the latest software to upscale them. The picture quality is outstanding. Hopefully, we'll get the same results with any dvds we watch from it.

This DVD player has been used for 6 months now and is the very best of the 3 earlier DVD players (not Sony brands) our family has used. Beautiful picture with easy to use remote for our convenience. A great buy for reasonable cost.

Needed a new DVD player that was wireless with Netflix and other apps built in and at the right price. This is one! Easy set up to the internet and we were watching Netflix in less than 10 minutes! I highly recommend this DVD player!

The Menu is very easy to Navigate, the machine is very quiet & loads content in a very crisp & clear format. The footprint of the device is surprisingly small. It works just fine as all Sony products do!

It took me five minutes to get it out of the box, then five minutes to get it set up. Great picture, and I have not noticed any buffering when streaming (standard TWC internet). I've played regular DVD's in it and they work just fine.

This Blu-Ray player works as it states. There are plenty apps to choose from and more to add. It's a fairly straightforward setup as I've come to expect from Sony. Same user interface as a PS3/4 and my tv in regards to connecting to a home network.

Really like this Blue-ray player. Movies are clear. Do have this paired with an SUHD TV so that probably makes a difference, as well. The built-in WIFI makes it super easy to watch Netflix and other similar streaming programs too.

I bought this unit to replace the Sony standard DVD player that I've had for a few years. I purchased a new 4k ultra HD TV at HB as well recently so had to have the blue ray player. Sony keeps it simple and works forever...easy to use remote!

We purchased this one after another brand kept freezing every time we tried to stream any show or movie. Both the streaming features and disc player work great. We now own 2 of these and have no complaints.
