It took me five minutes to get it out of the box, then five minutes to get it set up. Great picture, and I have not noticed any buffering when streaming (standard TWC internet). I've played regular DVD's in it and they work just fine.

Really like this Blue-ray player. Movies are clear. Do have this paired with an SUHD TV so that probably makes a difference, as well. The built-in WIFI makes it super easy to watch Netflix and other similar streaming programs too.

This Blu-Ray player works as it states. There are plenty apps to choose from and more to add. It's a fairly straightforward setup as I've come to expect from Sony. Same user interface as a PS3/4 and my tv in regards to connecting to a home network.

Works great,quiet, and easy to use. Very quick, easy connection just make sure you purchase an HDMI cord. Great product would recommend! 100% Love Sony products.

I bought this unit to replace the Sony standard DVD player that I've had for a few years. I purchased a new 4k ultra HD TV at HB as well recently so had to have the blue ray player. Sony keeps it simple and works forever...easy to use remote!

We replaced our old blue ray player with this one. It allows us to get Netflix now in a different area in our house. It also very easy to connect up a computer to it for zoom and Skype.

The Sony blue-ray player that I purchased is an excellent player. It has great sound and contrast in picture and it works well. Recommend this product for any one.

Bought based on previous sony dvd and bluray player purchases.

It’s worked well each time I’ve used it, the only problem I’ve only used it a few times since I purchased the item. It’s easy to operate and works very good when we put it to use.

So far I have had no issues with this player. It is simple and easy to use. It hooks up well with my Samsung tv. There is a light to indicate if the player is on, which I appreciate after having a player with no indicating light.

This was a replacement DVD player for a cheaper brand that wasn't worth the amount paid. I was looking for an inexpensive player, as this unit will be used maybe once a week. So far no problems, and as always very easy to set up.

This is a very easy to use Blu ray player. Be sure to get a good cable, so it will auto switch between the player and the television. Remote is easy to handle and understand.

It is certainly not the best but very, very good for the price. No problems whatsoever especially when connected with 18Gb HDMI cables to a recent model TV. Works fast, picture is very good, what else you want.

Why buy a fire stick and a blue ray when this does both! I went looking for just a DVD player and knew I would need a roku or fire stick for our bedroom. This works great and covered everything in one.

This is an inexpensive Blu ray player that gets the job done and adds in a few extra features. I don't personally use the online apps because I already have access too those other apps via other devices but it's a nice feature to have.

I had a Samsung player and after only one year it stopped playing with the sound so I had to replace it. I decided to get this Sony since I recently bought a Sony tv and I am very happy with it. So far everything is working perfectly!

A good purchase for those with mid line equipment. The built in Wi-Fi does not disappoint and the picture quality is good, too. At this price, it bears, in my opinion the high end cost machines with basic functioning and reliable A/V

I think These Sony DVD Players will serve us well here at home .

I told the salesperson I needed something that was simple to navigate and set up. This is exactly that. I bought it for my Autistic son who isn't very patient about electronics. He wants it to work and be done with it. Perfect for us.
