Not able to get Cable for 2weeks after moving in. Went to Best Buy to get a DVD player. Looked at a few others but decided on this model. Have been very happy with the performance of the player.

This unit was very reasonably priced and it does everything I want it to. My last Sony Blu-ray player lasted me at least 5 years and this unit seems just as solid.

The setup and functionality both get high scores. We bought this to compliment a non-smart bedroom tv, so we can have streaming capabilities. The unit is quite slow. Accessing Netflix and Pandora are not speedy processes. Netflix often stalls out and takes time to buffer. Maybe my expectations are too high, due to the outstanding performance of our other smart tv's. There is a strong wireless signal going to it, but it often loses the network and must be reset.

I love the new DVD player. It synced very easily to the tv. I recommend to any one looking for DVD player in the moderate price Rate to give this DVD player a try. Best Buy is a wonderful place to shop.

Got it home, unboxed, set it up. Started watching blu-rays. I went to log into HULU only to receive the message " AS of August 2019' Sony blu-ray no longer streams HULU. AGGGHHHH!!! The horror. I will have to purchase another device (a multi port ) to add my ROKU device back on to my TV, so that I can stream HULU. Another 50 bucks, had I known this in the beginning I would NOT have purchased this player.

I was looking for a good Blu-ray player, that doesn’t have 4K and all the other stuff the manufacturers are trying to push off on us. This is a good one!

Love this unit. It was easy to set up and is easy to operate. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to add apps of your choice.

Setup on this product was very simple. I did have some initial issues with the opening and closing functionality. That being said, it's performed well over the last couple years.

Got this to replace an older Sony unit that still works great. From what I can tell, Sony has more streaming apps available to keep us entertained. Plus, the blu-rays and even standard dvd's look great!

Great wireless dvd I was disappointed when I found out I couldn’t get Hulu or down load the app overall I purchased this because it was WiFi and my old one was not

Everything you want from an inexpensive blue ray player. Excellent controls, quick results. The Wi-Fi access to many web sites is a welcome extra

Easy setup, purchased 2, one for ea. of the bedroom tvs. Had to return one . . . .after initial setup couldn't get it to connect to wifi. Returned it w/o a hitch and the new one has been working ever since.

The price on this was awesome. I was surprised,actually. They used to be so pricey. This model had plenty of features .Didn't need to duplicate features already included on the smart TV. Nice!

Only disappointment was that Hulu no longer will stream with this DVD player. But, I don't know if that is Hulu or Sony that stopped that. Easy to set up and play

I had been warned that some Sony players will have issues playing regular DVD's, yet this model has not frozen or skipped on any. Works well with all items within the menu including YouTube and USB input.

I bought this blu-ray player for the bedroom where I don't have a wired connection. Works great. recieves wi-fi going through 2 walls. Works great for streaming and blu-ray and dvd playing.

Tons of streaming options, love that it connects by wifi and doesn't have to be wired to the modem. It was an awesome present for a good friend.

Needed a Blu-ray player for my new Sony TV. For the price this seemed to be a reasonable product. It works great and the picture it produces is excellent. I only wish it had a play button on the player.

Use this to watch all of my DVD’s as well as those I rent from Netflix. Works well. Simple setup.

Purchased this Blu-ray player to make our tv a smart tv. Easy hook up to the tv and very easy to operate. Love the Netflix button on the remote. I would definitely recommend this Blu-ray player.
