Everything works as expected. The only issue is that sometime when spinning up a disc it's kind of noisy, but I'm not sure if it's the disc or the player. It streams well, too.

I have one of these personally and loved it. My mom wanted a new one for Christmas and bought her the same exact one. Easy set up and works perfect.

One of the fastest booting and easiest to use players I have owned or used. Haven't found anything negative I would want to report. Excellent deal! May not look flashy, but it does the job.

Setup on this product was very simple. I did have some initial issues with the opening and closing functionality. That being said, it's performed well over the last couple years.

Basic Blu-ray player fits my needs perfectly. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a higher cost unit, but with limited internet access at home, it provides the performance I need.

Bought this for my mom because she was tired of old hand-me-downs vhs/dvd combo player with no remote for it. This was less of a hassle and has a remote and plays regular DVD and BLU-RAY discs.

I liked the product itself, but it didn't come with the cable to connect it to the tv. I had to buy the cable separately, and there was no mention on the box that it wasn't included with the bluray player.

I purchased this for a friend, and I was able to set it up for her with no problem. However this player is set up with wifi, and she didn't have wifi so this one was overkill for her purposes .

good value and easy to connect and use. Sony is a trusted brand in our house from TV to recorders to sound bar. Great for any entertainment center.

I purchased this because of the built in apps and the size of the player. I am able to have it sit under the space under the TV perfectly. I do wish there were more apps available to download.

Christmas present for great granddaughter. She likes it and so far so good. I only installed it yesterday and internet set-up was trouble free. I also played a BD which played as expected.

Got it home, unboxed, set it up. Started watching blu-rays. I went to log into HULU only to receive the message " AS of August 2019' Sony blu-ray no longer streams HULU. AGGGHHHH!!! The horror. I will have to purchase another device (a multi port ) to add my ROKU device back on to my TV, so that I can stream HULU. Another 50 bucks, had I known this in the beginning I would NOT have purchased this player.

I bought an older model of this DVD player a few years ago and it did a great job. So when we moved and I was told to get another Blu Ray player, I bought a newer model and it works great.

Needed a dvd player, and could not beat the price. My grandson misplaced my Roku remote, so the streaming apps on the dvd player filled in nicely. Not as good or smooth as the Roku in that regard, but video playback was just fine. Great purchase.

When getting devices, I look for economics, functionality & the size of the appliance. I feel this was a very good value for the price and quality of the playback.

Ok, not a techie (or Geek) here but the Sony Blu-Ray player was a great purchase. It connected easily to my smart TV and really performed. I saw new detail in movies I've seen 100 times before.

Got this to stream videos to my tv. streaming on my older tv and player stoped being supported. Was easy to install. Setup took a bit becuase it needed a download to work once setup was bone works great

Needed a blu-ray player and one of my t.v.'s isn't a smart t.v. Purchased this smart blu-ray and have both. Just plug in and follow the prompts and it's ready. Easy enough to use for my 8 year old.

We purchased this unit to replace a DVD player without Bluetooth capability. This new Sony does everything at levels above our expectations, including streaming movies from Netflix and other sites.
