I was unable to set up my player myself. It was unclear which remote I was to use for different parts of the setup. Now I have 4 different remotes, depending on which device I want to use.

All I needed was a simple Blu-ray player and this one is perfect. Just plug into the TV and you're all set. This requires an HDMI cable which is not included.

i seen these on sale and decided to buy two new one's to replace the two old one's i had i made a vary good decision these turn out to be better than the old one's the sound is better than before the center channels are much louder that before the sound used to be lower and you had to really turn it up cause some of the movies it would be low in sound this is better however you don't have as much sound fields to choose from but you don't have it can pick the best sound for you and it is right just about 99 percent of the time buy it it is really good you will not be disappointed with this one i guaranteed it so if you been thinking about getting a new one get it please

The Blue-ray player is of excellent quality. I really enjoy watching old movies on it

Bought this to have in my living room as I moved our Xbox to another room. Easy set up, easy to update and use. Don't really need the apps, but nice selection.

Works as advertised, we don't utilize anything other than the blue ray aspect though... so the extra app functions and wifi etc, are kind of a waste of money for us. Wifi works great on it though.

so tired these days of buying things that fail to fulfill the promises of the advertising.... this device however, does all that it advertised that it would do. very refreshing!

We have never had a dvd player that was able to turn out bedroom tv into a more useful tv. We have different likes so we are both able to enjoy what we watch it stream

easy to start and setup. connected to wifi fairly quickly and easy. menus are a little cumbersome to work with the remote. once setup, works well. no issues so far.

Would be better if you could come with add apps like Disney plus. Otherwise would give 5 stars. Plays DVD without problems

The Sony Bluray DVD player is great. I have had no problems with it, and it is very simple to use. I would definitely recommend it.

This DVD was great! Amazingly easy to set up.in this rural area, the electricity often goes off. It has stayed connected throughout.

Great quality and fast speed. Easy to navigate and helpful WiFi features. The eject button doesn't seem to work well on my remote but I have to walk to the player to insert a disc anyways.

This Blu Ray player has apps on it that are great for when you don't have a smart tv to access them. Works great and is wireless for the wifi so you don't have to connect it to your modem.

Earlier this month our TV died that had a DVD player attached. This small Blu-ray player fit in the small area above the new TV perfectly. Thanks Best Buy!

My folks just went from DVDs to blu rays, LOL, and this player was inexpensive and works perfectly for them. Love the wifi option. Not all players at this price point have that.

Having issues connecting to a hotspot. (Can’t get internet where I live). Very easy to use. My 4 yr old granddaughter is already a wiz!!

This device is nice and small, but it packs a lot of features. The spin of the disc has more vibrations than I would like which makes me worry about future issues. Might just be this unit?

This is my third Sony Blu-Ray player - they work great and have all the added features to make things work smoothly through wi-fi. The remote is easy to use as well.
