Old blu-ray was not able to play european DVD's so it was time to update. Now they are smaller and able to do more than before. Great little blu-ray player.

Prior to this Sony, I've had both a Philips and Samsung blu-ray players. Relative to those two, this Sony seems a bit more reliable in terms of powering on/off and opening the disc tray. I stream Netflix a lot and this Sony does that pretty well. My only complaint on the unit is that it's sluggish to boot up and load Netflix or a blu-ray. And by "sluggish" I mean "power on and go fix yourself a drink". But for that fact, the video quality is good and once booted, it's pretty reliable. Oh, and I like that it has an actual power light on the front - beware, not all of them do.

While I have the Firestick and Amazon Prime I still enjoy watching my own collection of DVDs at my leisure. So, my BluRay player makes that possible.

This is my third Sony Blu-ray Player. Now all of my televisions have the ability to watch DVDs and Blu-rays at their best.

Works great, easy to use and setup. When connected to a compatible Sony tv, it even changes the input and turns on the tv that was a added bonus for me.

Love our new blue ray player, it is so small! And the remote is great! If you haven't upgraded your player in a few years, this is totally worth it!

This was kind of my only option when I was shopping for a new DVD player. Once I got it home it was easy to set up and use. Runs as a DVD player should.

I use this mainly as a DVD player because I ah e a smart tv that already streams. I have used this to stream and it works great too!

I picked these up because they were on sale and wanted to compare them to the Samsung which was the same price and I recommend these over the Samsung

My better half wanted to watch a Netflix program on the non-smart television on the 2nd floor of our home and play her favorite DVDs. There was no easy way to run network cable to the location so I needed a player that would easily connect by Wi-fi to my Western Digital wireless router and provide access to Netflix. A Best Buy employee recommended this player. I was amazed at how effortlessly this player connected to my router. There is even a Netflix button on the controller. It is very easy to operate. I am very pleased with this player and so is my better half.

Bought this BluRay for my parents. It does what it needs to. This device replaced a Samsung that bricked itself.

This thing works well. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done! Needed an extra player for the house, but didn’t want to break the bank!

I have had this for a little while. It’s very user friendly, I haven’t had any problems with it. It’s a great value well worth the money.

This is the wireless and is way better than the LG I previously had. Def recommend paying the extra for wireless internet connection!

Fast shipping, It worked fine. Streaming worked good, but no power light, couldn't tell if it was on or off.
