Bought this on the suggestion of the sales person very happy easy set up did not have to program the remote worked right out of the box very easy to use

When I called I specifically asked for a smart DVD player that did Netflix Prime, and You tune. Well 2 out of 3 are not bad. Sony has discontinued their compatibility with Prime. The Best Buy person did not know. I was disappointed with my salesperson. The product was easy to set up. I did keep it but dislike the fact I have to run more than one thing to get the 3 stations I use all the time.

I just use the dvd player for watching dvds. I don't have it hooked up to cable or stream anything on it (although it's capable of doing that). So far so good.

I have had this for a little while. It’s very user friendly, I haven’t had any problems with it. It’s a great value well worth the money.

While I have the Firestick and Amazon Prime I still enjoy watching my own collection of DVDs at my leisure. So, my BluRay player makes that possible.

Our Samsung Blu Ray died so we needed a replacement and found this Sony to be an affordable option that so far is great!

I hooked this up to an older TV that does not support 4K. The blu ray player and DVD feature work great, and it is very reliable for streaming purposes.

My parents bought this product a few years ago and we needed a blue ray player, very easy to setup and use. Love this product.

The Sony HDDVR is an excellent product. It's picture and sound are very good and love the fact that it you can add your favorite apps.

Was not dissatisfied when I purchased this player... could have bought a more expensive model but this one performs flawlessly!

Prior to this Sony, I've had both a Philips and Samsung blu-ray players. Relative to those two, this Sony seems a bit more reliable in terms of powering on/off and opening the disc tray. I stream Netflix a lot and this Sony does that pretty well. My only complaint on the unit is that it's sluggish to boot up and load Netflix or a blu-ray. And by "sluggish" I mean "power on and go fix yourself a drink". But for that fact, the video quality is good and once booted, it's pretty reliable. Oh, and I like that it has an actual power light on the front - beware, not all of them do.

Love our new blue ray player, it is so small! And the remote is great! If you haven't upgraded your player in a few years, this is totally worth it!

This was kind of my only option when I was shopping for a new DVD player. Once I got it home it was easy to set up and use. Runs as a DVD player should.
