we wanted a good quality blue ray player at a good price and found it with this Sony. looks good and has all the features of a more expensive one.

We have had the same brand for a year and recently got rid of our direct tv. Needed another way to watch Hulu and Netflix and all the other apps.

I'm happy with the Sony blu ray dvd player. Had the unit about 6 wks when I received a message that I had to update the app. Tried to update several times & each time it failed. Called Sony for support. The Sony rep first told me I'd have to buy a device to download the update onto & then update the device. In the end, the Sony rep told me to go into settings & restore factory settings & the update should work. I tried this & the update worked. I hadn't changed any of the settings, so not sure what was going on. But the device works good now.

The Blu ray player is really easy to use and works really well. I am going to buy another one for my other room.

Great player. I watch tons of movies on DVD and Blu Ray discs, and this player holds up to daily use.

Great blu-ray player at a reasonable price. Would recommend for anyone looking for a basic movie player.

Though not the cheapest available, it is one of the most affordable considering what you get. Most current options available for under $100.

Works great, a little slow with loading YouTube or the dvd you put in but other than that, it functions and is easy to use.

This Blu Ray player does MUCH more than expected in order to hit the price point that is being asked for it. Beyond being simply a player, it offers several streaming services as well, including a youtube player. All functionality is complete and in essence, it DOES turn your TV into a smart TV (albeit without the internet surfing). Preloads are nice, and they offer a fair amount of other options. Wish that it had a sleep mode or inactivity timer, and that it offered universal controls for more television brands than it does (I think there are about 6).

I used it once to see if it worked, it did but now I can't get the TV to work and I don't know what to do. Very frustrating.

So easy to hook up a grandma could do it (and she did). Got it for the folks and they were blown away with the upgraded picture it provided.

excellent, no frills unit, plays Blu-ray, good 'smart' steaming features, digital audio output. I use mine with a projector home theater

Excellent purchase - it works great and was very easy to install. The only thing that would make it better is if it came with an HDMI cable.

Once again another great Sony product for a great price. Well worth your money. My sony products I have bought in the past have lasted for years.

Needed a simple DVD player for an entertainment room. Works great, easy to set up and use.

Good item for its size. We're able to watch all kinds of disc's. Remote can have a little me options.

This Sony Blu-Ray player works flawlessly. It easily picks up the wi-fi signal from a router that is located three rooms away.

Easy to operate, works well. We've been using it for about 2 months and everything works as it should.

I did not find this product hard to setup and use. The quality of the pictures and streaming capability was great and the price was very reasonable.

This player is easy to use and provides several streaming apps. So far I've only used it for Netflix and blu-ray, but am satisfied with my purchase.
