I purchased this unit based on recommendation of Best Buy person at store. I am so glad I did. It worked out of the box. Just plugged it in.

My daughter recommended this WiFi DVD player so that we could easily access NetFlix and Amazon. It was an easy solution until we got a smart tv. We have used it with a flash drive for old movies that we had converted because our smart tv proved toooooo confusing for us to figure out how to use the flash drive in it to see the movies. We also use it to play music thru our theatre system. Sometimes easy routes are the best. Not real tech wizards in this house so this helped us bridge between the two.

Very excellent. Not only do you get a bluray player but you got all other apps like netflix right in one box.

My mom wanted a Blu-ray player for Christmas. I checked reviews and settled on this one. As far as playing discs go it's a champ. But it fails in the streaming department. My mom says it responds very very slow especially when searching for titles on Netflix. I ended up buying her a Roku device to stream and told her to use this only for dics.Was bummed out as I thought this would be able to give her the best of both worlds.

For the price, you are getting a player that’s packed with high quality. Player is highly reliable and just great all around.

This player is small enough to fit right into my existing arrangement of equipment seamlessly and provides extra options of entertainment.

Had a Samsung which I didn't like! My sister had one of these and I knew after using the Samsung I wanted this one...the same as my sister!

A bit noisier than I expected for a modern day disc player, but not too loud. As mentioned by others, it definitely lags when executing commands with streaming services, but I did not buy it for that feature; a smart TV that can be controlled with a phone, tablet, or computer is the only enjoyable way to watch YouTube on a TV in my opinion. It's very small and does what I want it to do very well, which is play discs.

Sony always a reliable brand, easy to set up, would prefer that they supply the HDMI cord with it.

Great features and functions for the price. Sony is a trusted name in electronics and I haven't found any issues with this product so far.

We primarily use this as gateway to Netflix and other streaming and services. Good picture quality when playing DVD.

I use this Blu-ray player mostly for streaming, using an ethernet cable for connecting to my cable modem. Easy to setup and use.

I have been needing a device which i can rotate from cast, computer, disc, and roll through apps like YouTube or Pandora and this does it

Had a problem with my samsung connecting to the internet, switched it out for this one and had no problems. Simple to use, would def recommend.

Works well on the slower ATT high speed wifi. It is true that in the power saver mode it takes about a minute to wake up. Not a problem, tho.

We purchased this to replace our larger Samsung Blu Ray player. It's simple to use, but has all the basics that we need.

Bought this around Christmas sales time for $50 and it works great. Quick start, Netflix button works great, picture quality is very nice
