Good Buy!!

Small, works fine, not ideal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought a Sony TV for ourselves for Christmas, and got this player for Netflix and DVDs we own. Good points: it interacts with the TV very well, uses the whole 16:9 screen FINALLY, and the picture is great. Bad points: no need for the built-in "smart" apps which are in the TV itself, as well in the TiVo DVR. The price was good, the footprint is tiny, but so is the remote, which is a bit TOO small and lightweight, easy to lose in a house with kids and pets.

Fast, inexpensive with a load of features!

After my Samsung died after maybe 3 years of little use, grabbed this for about $100 and love it so far. The original batteries in the remote for the Samsung still work and now the player is in the trash. I have Sony stuff that is over 30 years old and still work great, so do yourself a favor and if you are in the need for a new Blu-ray, get this.
