||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My elderly mother was always amazed at all the streaming stuff and how it all worked and wanted to watch alot of the movies on my shelf but didn't have a Blu-Ray player. I bought this for her and helped her get it connected to her home TV. Works great. Not as many as apps as you would like, but that is more due to the way the industry is going.

It made my "dumb" TV into a "smart" one!

I was pleased to discover that this player also has wireless streaming which was very easy to set up, I only had to add a HDMI switch to allow me to play Blue Ray or DVD disks, WiFi content or my cable TV channels. I am very pleased with the audio and video quality provided by this Sony disk player. This unit is the perfect choice to breathe new life into older televisions.
