I have a small spot on my mantel where my TV is so it works great for that. The apps are a little slow.

Great Blu Ray player for the money. I would recommend to purchase.

My old Blu-ray player died so a replacement was needed and I chose this one. It was a breeze to set up and it seems to work well. My only complaint is it appears Sony is trying to save money by making the remote very small. I don't have large hands and still find it difficult to use the remote due its small size and the very small buttons. Oh well, I guess nothing is perfect.

I don't have a smart tv so this is just what I needed to watch DVD's and connect to Hulu.

I truly love my machine, it is WiFi able and I can connect to my cable with out having the wires.

I wanted to find a good DVD player that was easy to use, and had good ratings and name behind it.

We are simple people. This works amazing for both my kids. Easy to set up and easy to use.

I like the features on this DVD blu ray. This is the third one I've bought now I have one in every room.

Since Samsung bricked my last one I had to get a new player, and overall this one is pretty good, with a neat feature of dvd upscaling is that if your lucky, it'll adjust it to that of a blu ray frame rate display, my only gripe would be menu cosmetics as it doesent showcase any custom thumbnail for whatever inserted blu ray ya may have.

Player was not overly complex but performed as expected. I trust Sony.

Video images have good clarity but the remote has to be positioned carefully to eject a disc.

I was looking for a player that would help me convert my TV into a Smart TV. This player does the job perfectly. I haven't found yet a video file this player can't play. I owned other players in the past that had a hard time playing mkv files, but not t his one. I have it hard wired to my network. Once the cable broke and I used the wifi connection for the first time. There was no difference in speed at all. I'm really happy with my purchase.

This Blu-ray player acts as my main player and its good great for the price I paid.
