I figured that is what I get for buying cheap players, but I tried this one out anyway. I've had no problem for the last 6 months so I bought another one for the bedroom. I liked it so much I bought one for my cousin, who still had a DVD-VCR combo from the stone ages. She absolutely loves it! Very satisfied with this product!

Good Blu-ray; poor streaming capabilities

The streaming capabilities appear rather limited and not open to updates, which is unfortunate. Although it includes several key streaming services, the lack of availability of many popular ones is a weakness.

Disk player great; don't buy it for streaming

However, streaming is less than stellar--kept getting message "insufficient bandwidth" even though the Wi-Fi source is 8' away. I even got this same message when I switched it from Wi-Fi to dedicated wired Cat V cable. I would not recommend this player for streaming. I ended up getting Roku for streaming, which works perfectly.
