||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this same Blu-Ray Player going on 2 years and it works great so... this one was on sale and I bought it to replace if and when it stops working. Oh yea, I have had one issue - I record my own DVD's and when playing them, on occasion, my player locks up and I have to pull the power plug out and back in. This only happens when I am using skip or fast forward and like I said above, it doesn't happen often.

Good Blu-ray; poor streaming capabilities

The streaming capabilities appear rather limited and not open to updates, which is unfortunate. Although it includes several key streaming services, the lack of availability of many popular ones is a weakness.

It’s sitting directly on top of our Direct TV box which gets hot. This may be the cause of it blacking out for a second or two very frequently while watching a DVD. Very annoying. IF, I get another one in exchange, I’ll put it somewhere else, but I don’t have many choices.
