Don't know why I keep buying Sony

On the one hand, they do what I want them to do - play (BluRay and regular) DVDs and allow me to stream from the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and YouTube - but on the other they seem really prone to being glitchy from a firmware/software standpoint. In fact, I'd go as far as to say that this S3700 performs worse than the two older S3100s I have, and those have had their issues too. Specific problems with the S3700 include slow loading of some apps and very laggy response to the remote (when it responds at all) while using them. So in closing I would say that, unless you needed this Sony for a particular reason (for me it was the unit's dimensions and form factor more than anything else), I would probably suggest trying something from another manufacturer.

It does not come with the standard HDMI cable so you will need a more current one. I purchased the 8'Rockfish standard HDMI cable SKU#3720011, a perfect match. It's small but its 4K Ultra HD and HDR compatible, you won't regret buying this great little machine, you get a lot for the money spent.

I do not have wi-fi so I cannot comment about that portion. So far it has been fine. no issues setting up or playing. Seems to play moderately scratched CD,s without freeing up too bad.
