I bought this for mostly the Amazon player, and to a lesser extent to play DVDs. No issues with either, and the upscaling is quite good. All that for a very low price.

Very good and easy to play blu ray player Sony is always my first option. I really recommend this to my friends also couple of my family get one after watching mine

It works exactly as it is supposed to work. The set up was easy and fast. Plays the DVD perfectly and lets me use Netflex which was the main purpose of buying this player.

Great buy for the price. Only used a few times but it has performed excellent in each case. Easy to use and great for streaming.

Simple. Compact. Wifi capable. It does what it says it will do. You can feel the heft of the (minimalized) Sony quality inside - compared to some similarly priced alternatives. It's sturdy. It's my preteen kid's first player, and I think it will be outstanding for his purposes (playing movies through television speakers). It requires the remote to operate. The only buttons on the box itself are power and eject. It's only output is the HDMI. No onscreen display.

This blu-ray disk player streams media and is a really simple way to watch tv again when you've given up on ever increasing cable costs. It's great for non-techies.

Nice and compact. Needed a smaller box that packed a big punch, this was it. Was easy to connect to wireless internet. Have had no issues with this at all.

This is the best DVD player I have ever owned, it has Netflix and Amazon already installed and makes switching between devices so much easier! I absolutely love it!

Very small, easy to install. Works great. My only complaint is it dont have a vhs side. Do they make blurayer didtal with a vhs on other side. Thanks for great product.

I was looking for an inexpensive Blu ray player to replace one that had stopped working. This one is doing a great job and was very inexpensive.

as other reviewer have noted this blu ray player makes even old DVDs look like blurays. It is easy to use even for someone who is a bit electronically challenged.

Great player, easy to setup, remote, lots of apps. So far everything has been excellent. Price was excellent also.

Bought this as a gift for my daughter who had one quit on her. It is a basic unit but works quite well. Hope it will last a while now.

We wanted a smart wireless Blu-ray for streaming, and this Sony works great for streaming and watching dvd's.. Easy transition from TV to Blu-ray and back again.

Second purchase of this unit. Works well in wired or wireless environments. Easy to use and install. Just remember to check regularly for the easy download updates

Quickest & cheapest way to convert an older TV to Wifi & use Netflix, plus DVD & Blueray capable. We took it with us on vacation also & used in several hotels.

One of my Samsung players works when it wants, so this was a good back up for the price. Also good for a younger child's room, since it is inexpensive.
