Sony Blu-ray is definitely worth it

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this player to replace one which had seen better days, but this player's ability to play both DVD and Blu-Ray is a godsend, as there were so many movies I was unable to purchase for use on my previous DVD player, as said movies were only available on Blu-Ray, and this expands my viewing options immensely. I haven't used it to view online movies, yet, but knowing that that option is available is exciting.

We bought our new Samsung TV about 6 months ago from the same salesperson. At home we found that our very old DVD player was not compatible to our new TV. He explained that to us, suggested the Sony, set us up with the proper cables and ordered the player for us which arrived at our home when expected. The installation was fairly easy for me and everything worked perfectly. Thanks to BEST Buy and this talented associate.
