This Blu-ray player was easy to set up, and it works great. Its wireless for streaming from the internet works better than my TV. The price was good also.

Player works well. It does however lack many output options. No analog outputs at all, not even a headphone jack. Just the HDMI out and a digital coax out. Not really a problem for modern TVs, but, I was actually trying to use it as a portable player for use in various hotel rooms. Not all hotel TV's have HDMI or Digital coax inputs, and my backup small portable projector has a horrible small speaker. Not really Sony's fault, but I wish I had known about the limited output options before I purchased. Otherwise a great little unit. Nice and compact, and works well as a travel player.

I was pleasantly surprised that it was easy to set up and has great quality. Sony still proved to be a good buy.

Bought this to replace previous player that died suddenly. This player works great, I just wish there were a few more apps available.

I love my new blue ray DVD player. The wifi feature allows me to use it on several different televisions throughout the house without the need for an Ethernet cable. I wasn't at all happy with the mob of sales personnel who seemed to approach me everywhere I went in the store. Lately it seems I can't browse in the store at any item longer than two minutes when a sales person approaches. They are polite but I feel overwhelmed as soon as I walk through the door. I realize your sales force gets rewarded for making sales but they won't have have the opportunity to mob me for quite some time.

Bought this for my daughter. Been three months so far have not had any problems with it. Streams Netflix without any buffering overall good player for the price.

This is the second Blu-ray I've tried and it is wonderful. Easy set up. Prompts me for updates. Easy to set up and understand. Lots of great features.

Was looking for a simple BlueRay player. This is a great value for the price. Connects with ease to the internet for Netflix and Hulu as well. Great quality.

This is easy to use. It doesnt take up much room. It's as good as any other blue ray player that I have used.

Played DVDs and Blu-Ray with no problems at all, nice and small (the one I replaced was larger...and full of air inside the box). The remote is small, but that is what I expected, and it works easily from different directions. I spent the extra $10 for this model to see how the Wi-Fi worked but when I tried using the WPS button on our TP-Link router nothing happened. Will have to try later tapping in the Wi-Fi password (which takes longer working through menus).

Great price, great gift. Small and compact . Was very easy to set up. You do need to purchase an hdmi cord separately.

After my old Sony DVD player went to electronics heaven, I was astounded at the new small size and ease of set up of this unit.

Great picture. Easy to use menu for set up. Could have used an HDMI cable with my purchase to speed up the set up. I had to find that cable which was annoying.

Love this blue-ray! It was easy to set up and the premium setting allows you to view programming via the web, e.g., Netflix, Hulu.

Easy to connect and simple to operate. Really good HD and has capability to connect to various streaming services. Plus, the price was very reasonable.

I really like the size of this product is very compact and easy to install,easy to use the control is small too so I pretty much like the functionality.

I wasn't ready to spend a lot on a really nice Blu-ray player quite yet, but did need to replace one that took an unfortunate dive from a shelf. This unit is a great size and relatively easy to set up, and does do what I intended it for: stream stuff and play blu-rays. My critiques lie in the level of performance quality, though at this price point, I'm not sure how it compares. If this had been a more expensive unit, I'd complain more. The menus are a bit oddly laid out, and take a bit of trial and error to figure out how to get things you want in places you want (i.e. apps that you use all the time where you can find them easily again). The movement through them and subsequent menus feels quite laggy, often making me wonder if the unit had registered the button press from the remote. Streaming seems choppy at times and has disconnected more than once, even though I have the unit hardwired to the modem. Given that I have extremely high download speeds, I know it's not the internet connection. Overall, it will work till I'm ready to make more of an investment, but I feel that it has some issues that make me unable to wholly recommend it. If I did it over, I might have gone ahead with a unit a couple steps up in price/quality.

My parents needed a new DVD player and Sony has never failed us. Easy to install and works very well.

Really enjoy the quality and low price of this DVD player. The picture quality is better than expected. All the extra features are fantastic.
