Great picture. Easy to use menu for set up. Could have used an HDMI cable with my purchase to speed up the set up. I had to find that cable which was annoying.

This is just a great buy. It is small (compact) and works great. I ended up buying 3, one in each room.

Easy to connect and simple to operate. Really good HD and has capability to connect to various streaming services. Plus, the price was very reasonable.

Great player with a small footprint and a great picture. Looks beautiful on my TVs, from the 32 inch to the 70 inch. I will be buying some more of these.

My wife and I bought this to simplify our living room. We use it for everything now, Blu-Ray, Netflix, Hulu, etc. It is easier than using a game system.

Easy to setup and operate. I use it in a bedroom without a cable connection to make a dumb TV smart. Connects wireless without need to install cable connect.

It works fine for playing DVD's and BluRay discs. My only real disappointment was that Amazon was not one of the streaming services that were available. I read the questions and answers before I bought the product, and one of them was whether or not Amazon was one of the available services. One user responded that it was. However, I could not find it after I bought the product.

Really enjoy the quality and low price of this DVD player. The picture quality is better than expected. All the extra features are fantastic.

Great that it is wireless wifi. Easy to connect to tv. Kids love watching other carriers besides blu rays or dvds.

Easy to setup and good quality, I had a Samsung before, they just don't last. This is my second Sony and by far these are the best DVD's on the market

I wasn't ready to spend a lot on a really nice Blu-ray player quite yet, but did need to replace one that took an unfortunate dive from a shelf. This unit is a great size and relatively easy to set up, and does do what I intended it for: stream stuff and play blu-rays. My critiques lie in the level of performance quality, though at this price point, I'm not sure how it compares. If this had been a more expensive unit, I'd complain more. The menus are a bit oddly laid out, and take a bit of trial and error to figure out how to get things you want in places you want (i.e. apps that you use all the time where you can find them easily again). The movement through them and subsequent menus feels quite laggy, often making me wonder if the unit had registered the button press from the remote. Streaming seems choppy at times and has disconnected more than once, even though I have the unit hardwired to the modem. Given that I have extremely high download speeds, I know it's not the internet connection. Overall, it will work till I'm ready to make more of an investment, but I feel that it has some issues that make me unable to wholly recommend it. If I did it over, I might have gone ahead with a unit a couple steps up in price/quality.

After my old Sony DVD player went to electronics heaven, I was astounded at the new small size and ease of set up of this unit.

Love this blue-ray! It was easy to set up and the premium setting allows you to view programming via the web, e.g., Netflix, Hulu.

I got this for my Mom so she could stream netflix and watch blue rays. She said it was the best birthday present she ever received. No problems so far.

This has been a great DVD player for us. Easy to connect to online so we can get on You Tube or Netflix as well. Lots of good options, great player so far.

I’m a big fan of the Sony Blu-Ray players, & this is the one that had me convinced of their build quality. It’s well-responsive to the remote control commands, has features you’d get out of a Smart TV (Netflix, etc), & is super compact (my favorite part about it, as it leaves a lot more space on the entertainment center)! It also powers on & off pretty swiftly. No issues so far, & my family is very satisfied with it! (Only other thing to consider for those that may/may not like it is that the remote is quite small.)
