Compact unit. Not crazy about the feel of the remote but appreciate the functions. Does what I want it to do.

This is the third version of Sony bluray player. I have a 3d larger model, the 1500 wired, & this wifi version. The wifi and apps all work great. I use Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube. I really like being able to send my shows from my iPad to my players. The player even shuts off when I power off the tv, and turns on my tv and sets source when I start player. Movies resume where I left off, and remote controls my tv's volume, source, & power. I got it on sale in-store for less than the online price. GO SONY.

Pretty much a plug and play device. It's nice to have the streaming options built into the Blu Ray player.

we like the small size of this player. the online tools are easy to use -- no need for the owners manual for set up or operation.

Replaced an older Sony player that could not play blu-ray and did not have wi-fi. Very happy with this new player.

Bought it for my grandmother. Great quality and easy to use for her age group. She loved the “Netflix” button

Excellent blu-ray player, quality picture and sound. The wi-if options are great! Love being able to watch Netflix, YouTube, etc.

My daughter needed this so my grand-baby could watch all her dvds. It hooked up and performed just like my daughter had expected.

Great Black Friday buy. Compared to a Samsung model which didn't have a on indicator light. Excellent picture quality easy to use.

Super easy to set up and connect. Very small, would love if no cable to tv was possible.

Works well - nothing too exciting to brag about - just wish once it started it didn't come up with such a complicated menu - it is hard for my 80 year old mother to understand when all she wants to do is play a disk.

Since receiving my Yamaha Receiver, I have transferred all my devices and routed all audio through the Receiver. It did a great job of setting up my room with the YPOA device. Whether you have Roku, Apple TV or Amazon Fire, the Receiver works seamlessly and better than my Panasonic TV's can change Inputs. All Equalization is setup on 20 program settings that you can scroll through until your get the right sound. I have a totally modern setup and thanks to Yamaha for great engineering.

Not having a smart TV is no problem with this device since it has apps built in along with playing blurays!

The small size was just what I needed, the features are helpful, actually a bit more than I needed. Set up was fast and easy

My old BLU ray player died, so needed a new one for all the Christmas movies we like to watch. Setup was easy, comes with a nice remote and was able to program my universal remote for it as well Has a bunch of streaming services available, I setup my Netflix account in about two minutes. I think it’s a good buy, nice compact unit and good value

This Blu-Ray player was easy to setup and plays Blu Ray discs with great image quality and consistency. It also does a good job connecting to the Wi-Fi router and maintaining a stable connection for streaming Netflix.

Works as it should, easy set up and easy to use. Seems to be typical great Sony quality

Got this on Black Friday to replace my 8-year old (non-wifi) BD player. Easy to set up, great streaming and BD playback. Great value!

This unit offered more features than similarly priced players. Wifi instead of ethernet is most convenient.

Looking for a nice wifi unit to replace my daughters. For the price this unit had the best features by far over the other models
