Sony Blu-ray player good replacement

This one is much smaller than our other player, but seems to work fine. We have only used it a few times so far strictly to watch DVDs. We have not tried streaming since our internet connection is not good where we live.

Great 4K and 3D DVD player, no streaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG's UP875 is a great, economical 4K / 3D blue ray dvd / cd player. It does not provide wireless internet nor does it have streaming capabilities, i.e. hulu, netflix, etc. Very easy setup using wired LAN internet, HDMI and digital optical (cables not included). 4K is very clean and crisp with good contrast between deep blacks and vivid colors. 3D also very nice with good depth and clear focus. Bought this unit to upgrade from my Sony 3D unit. Highly recommend; great buy at $100.

GREAT BLU-RAY

Good "smart" player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this blu-ray for its streaming ability (Amazon instant video doesn't have an app on my Vizio TV for some reason) and for its compatibility with Playstation Now. On both fronts it satisfies and I have only had one small issue. After setting up and using it for a week, it suddenly stopped being connected to my wifi and thought the network was off (meanwhile my other devices including the television were connected just fine). A simple reset of the player fixed the problem and I haven't had this problem since.

A Great Blu-Ray Player

She doesn't care for technical things and this was a perfect fit. It works seamlessly with the TV and poses no technical challenges.
