This blu ray player met all my expectations and then some. i use it in the toy room for my children's entertainment.

This is the best blu ray player I've ever bought. Connects to youtube, vudu, netflix, oh my there are so many.

Really digging the features, especially the ones I have accounts with. Not super bulky, fits right in the space under my TV.

Plays Blu Rays and DVD, has built in apps, but wont let you add extra apps. Has Netflix preloaded but can't add like Disney Plus or Hulu or other apps that aren't preloaded. This also doesn't feel like a heavier quality made DVD players like our older Sony Blue Ray, this one feels really light and small like its made out of cheap plastic, but for the money, it does what it is supposed to do.

Good product for both playing of blu-ray and DVDs and for streaming content. I recently purchased this as a replacement for a prior Sony product that no longer worked. Unfortunately, they made significant changes in how the menu works and it is more cumbersome to get around than in prior models. This is the only reason that I would not rate it higher. Also, Sony dropped its arrangement with Hulu so that app is no longer part of the software and you can not access Hulu with his product.

I did not hook this player up with a sound system or anything elaborate - it's purpose was to be an inexpensive & easy to use, simple player in the bedroom for late night blu rays & streaming movies. In that regard, it works great. It may be far more functional than that , but I wouldn't know. Streaming reception is also very good. Only complaint would be the small & hard to read buttons on remote - probably not an issue with 'younger eyes'. Great performance & value for the price.

ok so far. I love the green led on the front tells you the unit is on. Samsung model I had did not have it. Seems like a solid unit. make sure you follow the connection order for AC power when installing.

It's small and compact. It plays blue rays good and seems pretty fast at the s assume time. No complaints here.

I purchased the Sony Streaming Blu-Ray player based on price. It's a great little unit and very inexpensive. The Wi-Fi set-up was fast and easy, and the unit works great. The big downside to this unit is the streaming side. While it has many streaming services built in, it does not have some of the services we were looking for (HULU and Disney). If they would upgrade this device, it would garner another star.
