I returned the blu-ray player only because if I stopped play it would not return to the same spot; it would go back to the beginning. That was the only reason. Everything else was fine. And that was with the only blu ray disc I had (The Blue Dahlia). I bought a new player, and more blu ray discs. The new player is quite good. But then I played The Blue Dahlia again, because I had also been doing some reading the first time, and because it's a very good movie. With this disc even the new player would not return to the same spot if I stopped play. So, apparently there is something odd with the disc, and returning the previous player may have been unnecessary. Hopefully this review will partially make up for what appears to be a wrong return.

So far so good. Not many replacement options for DVD players. Using it for dvd/blue ray. Have not used the streaming service. Not sure why it's even needed in this device. No buttons on the unit so it's remote only so don't misplace it and hope it doesn't stop working!

Compact device, basic Sony quality. Apps seem slow to load, not sure if it’s the device or my WiFi. Not a dealbreaker.

This Sony Blu-ray disc player is great! It's so compact it can easily be added to your other A/V equipment. It plays both Blu-ray and regular DVD's with great quality. It was easy to attach to the TV because it comes with a power cord and its own HDMI cable. The remote is also very compact which can be a negative for those with large fingers, especially in a low-light setting. If it weren't for this, I would have given it 5 stars!

Works Great for all my Blu-ray/ Dvd collection. Even comes with its on HDMI cable. Definitely worth the money. I’m old school so I still buy DVDs and CDs. So if by chance you’re looking for a player yo can’t go wrong with this one. I like it it’s really small so doesn’t take up a lot of room.

As is the norm for Sony, this is a good basic Blu-ray player. On the plus side it is wireless capable and can be used to access streaming services. It comes with a high speed HDMI cable which is another plus. It provides a great HD picture when playing my Blu-ray disks. For the price I don't think you could buy a better player.

This was a gift for 1 of my parents & let’s just say the entire household was happy to own a dvd player again after so many years. I won’t really review the streaming aspect of the device because I bought it for the sole purpose of playing dvds. It’s great, small, doesn’t take up much space and I was genuinely surprised to see it came with a remote AND batteries included.

Easy set up. Found wi fi signal right away. Crisp cleat picture.

I hooked up to my receiver and it worked. No problems. No great amount of time for setup. It was easy and that is what I was looking for. I love the small footprint as well. No issues finding a spot to put it in. The price was right for me as well. I saved a few dollars as well after shopping around.

I upgraded my old Blu-ray with this version which is same Sony brand as my receiver. Connection was a snap and the sound and picture quality are great! Best thing is that it is very affordable.
