Really good product for watching DVD and BluRay discs; no issue connecting to wifi to access YouTube. Only major drawback is that the apps pre-loaded on the TV are old and mostly defunct, and you can’t add new ones (like Disney+). But for the primary function of the device, to play DVDs, it works great.

Small and compact. Works great, streaming works great with Ethernet. Wireless streaming works smoothly but takes a few seconds to load. Overall a good product.

The Blu-ray Player is great! I bought it as a Christmas gift for my brother, whose old DVD player had stopped working. He and his family love it and can watch their DVDs again. They also love the streaming apps on the player. My only complaint was the delivery. It was supposed to arrive three days before Christmas. Despite reeceiving notification that it had been delivered, it didn't come. I waited an extra day, just in case it had been delivered to a neighbor. (My assumption is that it wasn't delivered at all, perhaps taken by the delivery driver.) I contacted Best Buy, and everyone I talked with was nice and understanding and worked to send out another one. After they did an investigation, they did send me another one, which arrived about a week after Christmas. I was disappointed that I didn't receive it in time for Christmas, but Best Buy did good by sending out another one via a different delivery service. The player itself is absolutely fantastic!

The dvd player is very slim design and is fairly simple to use unless you hit the netflics button then you have to start over. It is a great value for the price. The speed of the shipment is fast, I believe it took only two days. The remote is compact and very easy to use , you can go from chapter to chapter very fast.

Easy set up, doesn't take up a lot of space, looks nice in the entertainment unit. Haven't used it much as we stream a lot but nice tonhave for DVDs and BluRay discs when internet goes down or we have a movie on disc that isn't on streaming services.

More than I can imagine. I wanted a DVD player that worked. This one not only worked but provided Blu-ray with Wi-Fi build in. Great for streaming on my old Samsung TV.

I have only used this Blu-ray player once. Gives a great picture. It is Wi-Fi capable, but I was not overly impressed with the way the app set up works. I have a Roku for my apps and only looking to use this to play my Blu-ray and old DVDs. This player will upscale the old disc.

our daughter bought a house and needed a blue ray player for the tv she was bringing with her from our home. Nice that this had built in wi-fi and hdmi cable too!

Surprisingly to me I was able to hook it up by myself using the manual! Was listening to my music stations in no time which sounded incredible. Can't wait to watch my DVDs or pictures from my phone! Very happy with this purchase.

The first Blu-ray purchased with TV didn't work, but Best Buy replaced with a new one which is currently working just fine. Appreciated the service by Best Buy to replace the non-working unit without any hassles. Much appreciated. The 4 stars is because the first one didn't work, not related from service by Best Buy. That is a 5.

I needed to pick up a player in a pinch and the choice was easy when I saw this player with the built in wi-fi with an HDMI cable to boot. Set up was easy and play back is what I have come to expect from Sony. As always a quality product. Finding it at a discount was a bonus. Not disappointed.

It is a great blue ray and dvd player, the size is excellent, the functions are great, the picture is amazing and the sound is perfect. This is a great system Esther to see a movie from a disc or streaming from the apps.

This was a replacement of a wired DVD player that got fried from a lightening storm. We decided wifi might protect it from damage in another lightning storm. Works quite well, plays all dvds and BluRay disks. And the built-in internet access allows YouTube and other channels. Easy to connect and the "Smart" TV recognized it with few problems.

The setup was the easiest. A great price. I didn't realize the extra online links available (YouTube, Netflix, etc) built in.

The DVD player works great! Was a gift for my 96 year old mother for her birthday. She is very happy to have it and uses it frequently along with streaming old programs.

Would have nothing but a Sony. Quality and use are extremely easy. I use this in nursing homes to show programs based on faith.

First, if you want a Blueray disc player, then this is pretty good. It pauses a bit to load, but that's okay. The main reason I wanted this, however, was the 300+ apps so I could watch things on Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc.. It turns out this model comes with less than 25 apps, and cannot have more added according to Sony. So I called Best Buy asking for one with 300+ apps for the same price, as this one was advertised as having such on their website. They told me to talk to Geek Squad. I went into the Best Buy nearest where I'm staying and the manager told me that Geek Squad cannot even plug it in and look at it, let alone try to get more apps on it. When I asked for something that could have 300 apps for the same price, as it was advertised as having it, they refused, saying they would graciously accept a return on the item despite my not having the box, but that was it. When I told them it was false advertising they said it was Sony's fault, and that's it. I guess having a company doesn't mean having to fact check, or make things right. So I guess I'll just do without a Blueray player for now and eventually get my reward certificates back. I don't tend to post negative reviews, but then again I'm not used to being treated this way.
