The unit itself works fine, but it did not come with a remote. I called, asking for a remote to be sent to me, but i was told my only option was to send it back. I ended up buying a remote on Amazon

Works well, and easy to operate. The Geek squad recommended this item when they discovered that our od layer would not work with the TV we bought..

I am not satisfied with this product. The response is poor and the connections do not work well.

Small and easy to set up. I was watching one of my favorite dvds in minutes.

This purchase was a near total waste of money. I can play the few DVDs I own. Bought it mostly for streaming from internet. It does not allow you to select source apps. There are about 30 Sony selected apps you can access and no changes are permitted. I had heard of 3, Netflix, YouTube, and tubi. Caveat Emptor!

It does the job but icons on the player are tiny and some dvds do not display running time when paused.

Did not have all the apps I needed. Regret the purchase.

While it is a usable machine, the lack of a visible timer and the number of times it seems to freeze up and need to be turned off and on again to operate are HUGE negatives.

I was hoping that it would work, but the remote doesn’t even function even with the batteries that were included. Returning….

Package came fairly badly damaged ... Since it's a gift, we won't know if the device is damaged or not for another month or 2 ... Not a great sitch to be in ...

This product freezes up like an old computer. I constantly have to unplug it to reset. I would not purchase again and would have returned it if I had kept my receipt.

Very poor streaming, with either Wi-Fi or wired. Netflix kept stalling and stopping completely. Resetting player would help. Player eventually died within 1 month after purchase. My only recourse was to return it to Sony, hopefully the replacement works.....

An out of date piece of equipment that does not deliver. It did still play disks though so not a one out of five.

less than poor.. Yes easy set up as review indicated but have yet to be able to get it to work.. FAILED completely.

i got this to play my cd s geek said yeah its great there no display to see what its doing you get a power light and a remote with 100 buttons plus didnt come with audio cables its on its way back to besty

This is the 2nd one we have owned, both were pieces of junk straight out of the box. Do not buy waste of money. Freezes often. We have no problems with Internet or other devices in the house.

THIS THING SUCKS! This is the laggiest streaming device I’ve ever used, it constantly freezes and locks up and requires a full restart and recently the wifi stopped working on it for no reason. Just get a regular DVD player, not this pile of hot garbage.

It's ok. I gave it to my friend, he put it in his daughter's room. Just so she could watch her blu ray cartoons
