No frills but solid player with easy set up. An upgrade over the Samsung we had previously which locked up on us and would not read the discs.

Like any Sony product I've purchased over the years, television, VCR,DVD, amplifier, speakers, you get the picture, this gives you your money's worth in quality, ease of setup, and longevity. All things to consider when investing your hard earned money. I've found over the year's that you may find an item a little less expensive, but you get what you pay for in the long run. That's why I always buy Sony and you should too.

Works exactly as I had hoped. plays a wide variety of disc formats which is very helpful. Overall good value for the money.

Basic but well made DVD/Blu-Ray player. HDM! + WiFi work great. Nice remote comes with AAA batteries. You cant go wrong with this Sony unit!

I have 3 of these. One in the living room, one in my son's bedroom, and one in my bedroom. The ones in the bedrooms function without any problems. The ones that I had and have in the living room keep malfunctioning or breaking down for some reason. It may be the electrical outlet. I like how the player have apps and can play both DVD and Flashdrive and is priced under $300.
