I like the smaller players as I don't have much room on my stand. This Sony Blu Ray was perfect. Plays DVDs and CDs to. Great value player, picture is excellent, outputs Full (1080p) HD, lots of options in the menu for power users.

I would give this a higher score if it didn't crash 2 or 3 times a week. And by crash I mean having to power it up, reconnect to my network (find wifi and its password) and then log back in to all app subscriptions. PITA. It is a little slow when using the remote. There is a delay when you hit a button and it appearing on the screen. Why are remotes with keyboards not the norm? Why are we using arrows to select letters and numbers? Also, I don't know why you can't download whatever app you want. That is more of an industry issue. To end on a positive note, I do like the unit. I use it everyday. When it works, it is great.

The set menu was easy to navigate and worked quickly very compact and nice player. A little slow reading until its buffer is loaded then seemed to operate fine.

Cost was reasonable. Set up was easy. It plays my DVDs very well, even though they are not Blu Ray discs. Most of all, I really appreciate being able to access Netflix on my big TV.

After realizing my family room television was too old to accept this blue ray that my other television worked perfectly and I got to enjoy the bonus features on my dvd that only worked with a blue ray device. Love the machine and an easy set up.

This was a purchase my son and it was a excellent buy. It allows you to watch all those DVDs and any other forms of media that you have. It also has pre programs of Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc. It is also very small and compact.

Bought this for my parents, excellent blu ray player. Easy setup and my parents find it simple to use. Sony never lets me down.

Only have it for a short time but has worked just fine. Great picture. Can only comment on how it plays dvd's as I don't do any of the other stuff.

Easy to setup, software include is great plus you can add other apps. Fast loading tray for DVD, Blu-ray and CD discs. I totally recommend this Sony player!

I previously purchased this brand/type and it lasted for many years. Good quality. Just wish Prime Video was one of the apps like on my old one.

Since my DVD player finally stopped working, I decided to upgrade and buy a Sony - Streaming Blu-ray Disc player. Now I can go to Red Box and rent my favorite movies in Blu-ray format.

Bought 4 of these to use in our children's classrooms at our church. They start up quick and are easy to use for our teachers who may not be technically inclined. And bonus they include HDMI Cables (which I didn't know about)

Super easy to hook up. Hook ups can be challenging- especially for me- but I no problems!

For $79 this was an incredible bargain. It replaces a Sony DVD player, which I've had for four years. The Blu-ray picture quality is so much better.

Pretty simple plug and play equipment. Plug in the hdmi cable, plug in the power, put the batteries in the remote and good to go

These basic Sony dvd players are the best on the market IMO. We now own 2 of them. The first one is ages old- probably well over a decade- and keeps on purring like the day I took it out of the package.

Happy with this DVD player. A great device. Easy to use
