Great CD and Blue Ray player. Works great and is easy to use

It saved my dvd collection! Bought a new tv which diesnt have the old ports for hook up. Tried an adapter but that dudnt work either. Found this blueray player with hdmi hook up and a included hdmi cord. Was very easy to hook up. Now i can enjoy my dvds whenever I want.

1) my only wish was that it had a slot for VHS movies - I still have many (2) had Sony units before and they are always the best. (3) same for TV’s (4) if I wasnt a monetarily-challenged older Veteran I would go for one of latger Oleg or Oleq Tv’s. Best Buy has some enticing displays ! This is a great little Blu-ray. The compact size makes it easy to place just about anywhere. A good example of the quality you would expect from Sony.

I'm old school and love my dvd's. No searching different platforms for what I want to watch. Easy to use, simple set up, and QUIET!! I had purchased a dvd player prior...forget the brand, but ithummed/whirred so loud, that I'd just stop watching the movie. This is on a wood dresser and I cannot hear it! Hopefully I didn't jinx myself! Ha!

I love this Sony Blu-ray disc player. I am sort of glad that my old Sony blu-ray player of 10 years conked out on me and forced me to purchase a new one. The advancements made in these disc players is simply amazing; the compact size, the streaming capabilities and the ease of operating it has made this hands down a very Best Buy in my opinion. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their old dinosaur blue-ray disc players.

I picked this unit up to test with a Sony TV and this Bad Boy rocks. Awesome picture and Sound Sci-Fi movies are larger than life. Previous Sony Blu-Ray would freeze up every now and then. This unit has been functioning flawlessy. Sounds come from all directions in the room. I would recommend this unit without a doubt for the Home thater enthusiast or just the average Movie streamer as it has built-in WiFi. The price was not excessive as Best Buy has deals regularly. Go For it!

Perfect Blue-ray disc player. Has all the preloaded bells and whistles for streaming (Netflix, Prime, etc.). Great price. HDMI cord included to boot!

This blu ray player is awesome. I didnt need a fancy player with a lot of different features. This machine is simple to hook up and you dont need instructions to get it to work. Its lightweight and has a very slim design. If you dont have much space this is the blu ray player to purchase. Simply magnificent in all aspects of design and function.

I purchased for my exercise DVD collection. I love that you can watch other APPS through the player. The picture is clear with sharp images. The remote is relatively easy, however I need to read the manual about the color collection of buttons in the second row. Very happy with my purchase.

This is my second Sony in this model. Finally managed to wear out the last model which lasted three and a half years of hard use. BR still leaves streaming quality in the dust. No frame jitter during action scenes, perfect color and sound. The remote is intuitive and easy to use. Setup is fast. Difficult to not like anything about this player.
