Our old Blue-ray player stopped working so we replaced it with this one. Connecting it was fairly simple and the streaming services that are preloaded are great; the only downside is that I cannot figure out if I can add other streaming services that are not preloaded.

Compact but powerful!! Many streaming apps preloaded and wireless internet connection!! Love it!!

Works great. Connected easily to tv. Picture very clear. Remote easy to maneuver.

This DVD player is just fine for playing my DVD collection. I havent used it for streaming, as I have little need. If you need it for that purpose, dont rely on this review

Bought this as an open box, it works fantastic and does what I need it to do. Haven’t tried the USB portion yet, but the open box came with a DVD someone left in it. Fun.

Took a Geek Squad visit to get standard dvds to play without video blackouts. Blueray played well. Now the player works flawlessly.

Having this has been great and it literally saved my girls weekend by having it with me so we could watch fun comedies in the evening!!

Don't like it! It always freezes up and I have to unplug and plug back in for it to work :(

This BD player has been around for years. It's dependable but DO NOT use as a streaming device. Technology is way old for streaming and slow. Use for BD/DVD's only or CD's.

Just what I wanted and need. My dog ate the cords on the one I had and I have been searching for a disc player. Even better then the one I had - plays Blu-ray.

Bought this to pair with an Insignia 43" 1080P TV. We probably won't use it that much as a blu-ray player but are more interested in it's ability to play videos from a flash drive. Works great for that purpose.

This is great. I would like to add speakers for more volume for larger group presentations.

I've only used it a couple times so far to watch movies over the holidays. It was easy to set up. I'm basing my rating mostly on Sony's reputation. This product replaces the one I had for many years.

Easy operation and quick wifi connection. Several streaming apps are preloaded but do not see a straightforward way to add streaming apps that are not preloaded.

My new Sony - Streaming Blu-ray DVD player plays as I expected and has exhibited no problems. The previous one I owned, the same model, worked reliably for 7 years. I hope this one does the same.

I really really wish I would’ve read the reviews & dud more research, but I thought what I was searching for wasn’t a hard find. The main complaint is that you CANNOT ADD/DOWNLOAD apps. You can only use the ones already on it… most of them I’ve never even heard of. Another downfall, which doesn’t bother me as much, but worth mentioning… I will select an app to open, it acts like it’s doing something, but then stays on the sane page and you have to select again. But, it deserves some credit… it’s tiny, it’s lightweight, and affordable.

I love my player. It did not come with a cable or remote, but I already had a cable and I found a remote at a great price
