Great little Sony - Streaming Blu-ray Disc player with Built-In Wi-Fi and HDMI cable - Black. Very compact and the picture is awesome, even on an older TV. Perfect for DVD and Blu-ray Discs. Planning to use it in the future for Wi-Fi.

I bought this player along with a smart TV and have been completely satisfied with both. The BluRay player is simple to set up, easy to use and delivers a spectacular picture. I feel this was a one of my smartest purchases in a long time.

This is the third identical player I've bought. They're nicely priced, easy to operate and are dependable. My first one is still performing like new. Too many other things I've purchased have not held up but these do.

Super easy setup. Great price. It is very light weight so much so that one of the first dozen or so disks played caused a vibration and noise that disappeared (the noise) when I picked up the player. A minor annoyance and so far seems to be specific to that one disc. This is the reason for a 4 instead of a 5 star rating.

This is a small piece of equipment that has a lot of features. The picture is crisp and clear. The hook-up is simple and straight-forward. Everything you need for start-up is in the box.

Easy to set up and beautiful quality. No additional wiring and small enough to fit in tv stand. I love that is was not expensive.

Yhis is a quick and easy to use and setup. Will both DVD and BLU-RAY will read disc information when hooked up to a wifi connection. Small device so it will fit into most cabinet perfectly.

The Sony DVD/Blue Ray player is a fantastic player. It is compact, easy to connect to a TV, but its smart functions are just not very good. If you want just a DVD/Blue Ray player, this is good and the price is not bad. If you want to add smart functions to your TV, look somewhere else. Set up is slow, connecting is slow, and moving from app to app is slow. Once connected to Netflix, for example, it is slow. I finally just moved back to my Roku stick and Netflix was once again fast. The other issue is every time you turn off and on the Sony device, you have to reconnect back to your Wi-Fi network and it is slow. My advice is to look at something else if wanting to add smart functions to your TV, this is just not going to cut it. I cant recommend this Sony player.

First use was Polar Express movie in blu-ray. Quality of picture is great, worked as it should, no problems. Nice compact size also

This is a nice option if you are mainly looking for the function of playing DVD's, not streaming. The box will include the DVD player, remote, remote batteries, HDMI cord, and power adapter cord. Once plugged in, you can connect to your wifi and complete setup. The setup process is quick and easy. The box says it has various apps you can use for streaming. There is a very limited amount and no App Store to add more. The only recognizable streaming service for video was Netflix. There's buttons on the front for opening the tray and powering on/off. You can also use the remote for these functions. The DVD player itself is very small and compact so it takes up minimal space. Overall, this is a good option if you need a basic DVD player. There are not a lot of options for streaming services so don't buy it just for that function, you'd be better off with a product made for various apps.

This is the smallest such device I have seen - making it easy to position into a cabinet or other enclosure. Video production is very good. Audio production is also very good. I did, however, encounter a few anomalies concerning wifi: 1) device will only connect to wifi on 2.4 GHZ band 2) upon first connection, internet access was fine and all apps functioned properly. However, the next day, internet access was lost even though all other wifi devices in house worked just fine. Nor could I get it to reconnect right away, but after a day it finally reconnected for a while then lost internet again. Sad bug, because it keeps the onboard apps from working. One more mild device irritant: it did not remember last location viewed on a BluRay disc, so every time you power on the device with the same disc loaded, you must hunt for the correct scene manually.

Rarely used it and within a year it stopped working.

Hi folks, so my old Sony BRPlayer broke and I needed a new one this one serves me perfectly I only use it for playing DVD,and Blue ray discs plus a USB thumb drive, with my fav orite MP4 videos I don't need any streaming features anyway this unit is better than the old one was my other player had trouble playing videos from my flash drive: pixelation; other cases - audio format not recognized, the new one plays everything perfectly no errors, I'm truly impressed with this little machine!buy it!

I was looking to replace my Bose Surround. The sales person showed me several different brands and peices. This sound bar fit the bill for me. The sound is amazing and set-up was easy.
