Love the conventional design of the remote. The player and the remote were significant improvements compared to the over-engineered Samsung products the Sony blu ray and remote replaced.

Picture is sharp, vibrant, and with good sound. Playing CDs is also good. However, you should have a good soubdbar connected to the TV if you wany great sound from your CDs. I do. Playback with just the TV speakeker is adequate at best. Streaming would never be my choice with this player. Its not really good for that.
